Studying Abroad in Florence!!!

Florence is the right place to live the experience that you have in mind! A period of study in Italy, to be held in good schools, will allow you to really live in Italy as an Italian. Renting  an apartment in Florence is the most intriguing choice, a choice that will allow you to be able to experience from the inside life in Italy.

Living in Florence, a small town in central Italy, but with an efficient rail network that connects it to the rest of the nation, and an efficient international airport, offers the opportunity to plan trips throughout the rest of Europe and Italy. You can also take advantage of the many low cost flights offered by the international airline companies, which depart from the Airport Amerigo Vespucci of Florence. New adventures are right at your fingertips! Places like Berlin, Paris, London, Athens, Madrid, Praha, Lisboa or Dublin are all short  flights or train rides away. Within Italy, Florence is the capital of Tuscany, one of Italy’s most beautiful region. You can easily travel from the city to Pisa, Siena, Lucca, Rome, Milan, Bologna and of course Venice.

The quality of the food is unquestionable. We all know that Italian cuisine is excellent. Living in an apartment, you can also try yourself to cook Italian food, maybe for your friends. And if we do not succeed, well it is not important. Just walk down the street, and you will find bars, restaurants, pubs, wine bars and many places that offer cheap and tasty finger food.

The wine is yet another chapter in the great tradition of Florence. Tuscany is one of the best region in the whole of Italy for food and wine. Florence itself is home of some of the best restaurants and wine bars in the world; many of them surprisingly affordable.

Students come in Florence from all nationalities, so you can easily become friends of people you would never have known if you had not come here. Of course you will meet many Florentines, that people in general are very sensitive and not easy to grant relished friendship. But once overcome their difficulties, you will find great people, with great culture and humor.

Florence, of course, is a good place for shopping. Florence is the right place for fashion addicts, but you can also find outdoor markets, as the well known San Lorenzo Market. Inside this magic place, you will find fantastic food vendors meats, cheeses, olives, breads, and countless goodies. Outside the market, you will find open air shops of clothing, leather goods, jewellery, vintage clothes and ceramics. Via Calzaioli, Via della Vigna Nuova and Via Roma are the fashion streets, where all the international brands have their shops: Prada, Valentino, Yves Saint Laurent, Gucci, Patrizia Pepe, Pomellato and many other. Another great place for food is Sant’Ambrogio market, while Piazza Santo Spirito area is the right place to go for accessories, handcrafted shoes, antiques, jewelry, pottery, and rare books.

Yes we know: it’s daunting to move to a new place, having no friends, but it’s one thing that brings opportunities and it brings you new experience. The city is magical, you will instantly feel at home and it will follow you for the rest of your life.
